The Night Prince: Book 1.

Best friends Declan and Finley’s normal lives ended the day the Leviathan broke through to Earth. Only the arrival of the Sun Elves–and their powerful King Aquilan–saved humanity and drove the Leviathan back into the Under Dark.

Now Declan, Finley and the rest of the survivors find themselves in a new world full of magic and danger where elves, dwarves and other high fantasy beings are real and their neighbors. Whether the humans or the high fantasy beings want it or not!

Working at a dwarven tavern, Declan wants to keep a low profile, but when he starts exhibiting dark powers no human should have, he draws the interest of the Sun King himself.

Aquilan, the Sun King, in turn finds himself captivated by the supposedly human young man, and determines to uncover the truth behind Declan’s powers, even if that truth makes Declan his enemy.

In turn, Finley desperately wants to be the first ever human to gain magical abilities. He finds an unlikely ally in this quest in the Sun King’s rakish best friend Lord Rhalyf. But is Rhalyf’s help born out of kindness for an underdog or because he has reasons of his own to stay close to Finley?

Whatever the answers, Declan, Finley, Aquilan and Rhalyf are running out of time to learn the truth, because in the dark the Leviathan wait…

NOTE: This is a long serial that is divided into book-length segments. Every single one ends in a cliffhanger. We anticipate there being 9 volumes. This series will not be in KU, because it is on the Raythe Reign serial website.

The Night Prince, Book 2.
An M/M Cozy Fantasy Romance.

A bartender and a king can’t fall in love. They certainly can’t have a relationship. And they most certainly can’t have a happy ever after. Right?

That’s what Declan Wilde keeps telling himself about his growing attraction to Sun King Aquilan Fairlynn. Even as he carries Aquilan’s books, promises to take him to all the sweet shops he adores, and stares deeply into his crystalline blue eyes… Regardless of what Declan tells himself, it appears his heart has other ideas.

Can Lord Rhalyf Neres be any more annoying than he already is? Finley West is convinced that it isn’t humanly–or elvenly–possible. Rhalyf uses magic like breathing and seems to want to fall out of his clothes at any given moment. But the more Finley ignores him, the more Rhalyf wants to be with him. Finley cannot imagine anything Rhalyf could do or say that would change his mind.

But that’s when he learns Rhalyf’s secret…

This cozy, romantasy continues as our two couples test what is possible.

The Night Prince, Book 3.

The Sun King Aquilan Fairlynn’s nephew Darcassan has disappeared into the ruins of Chicago in search of a rift to purple-towered Illithor. Darcassan seeks the great weapons and magics that the dread Night King Xelroth Vex left behind in that sleeping, dreaming, dangerous city in the Under Dark.

Declan, Finley, Aquilan, Rhalyf, Elasha, Helgrom, Snaglak, and Glom all agree to track Darcassan and stop him from intruding on the Night King’s beloved city. For if an Aravae lord steals even a grain of sand from Xelroth Vex it could spell war between the Night and Sun Elves after millennia apart.

But this quest to save Darcassan starts in motion the fates of many of its adventurers…

Declan Wilde suspects that there was something wrong with him. In the Under Dark, he will find out exactly what that is.

Finley seeks magic that humans can wield. Will he find it?

Aquilan is haunted by his parents’ deaths and his own spotty memory. Are the two connected?

Rhalyf has been desperate to hide the fact that he is a Kindreth–and not just any Kindreth–but the nephew of the Night King himself. Will he keep his identity in the shadows or must he finally step into the light?

Helgrom is returning to the Under Dark after many centuries or is it far longer than that?

Elasha must stand up to her twin. Can she do it? Or will she back down as always?

Even Snaglak and Glom seem to be hiding secrets that the Under Dark’s velvety blackness hints at.

One thing is for certain, nothing for the best friends–or anyone who accompanies them into the wondrous and terrifying Under Dark–will ever be the same.
